They were one of the first really heavy bands I got into. Psalm 69 is still a great album. I saw them on their farewell tour. I wish I had seen them more than once but that one show was awesome.

They're not really guitar rock. Its all done on computers but played live with real instruments, like NIN.

I'm a fan of the early New Wave stuff. Never been a fan of their Industrial Trash Rock.

Gonna need to see a link for that allegation, Brosef. Because, quite frankly, I don't believe it.

listen to the Twitch album. That is the definitive industrial album along with any mid 80's Wax Trax artist.

its not done all via computers, but its a lot of synth.
Saw them in 1992. They blew my fricking socks off.
I love the in case you didn't feel like showing up live.

One of the most epic jams ever. When I saw them in 1992, they didn't sing this. But still amazing show.

Yeah, that's what I mean. Electronic music. Just look at their wiki LINK. Everything up to The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste was basically dance pop. Then they went sort of metal and used some real guitars, before going full on metal for Psalm 69. They still used drum machines and heavy distortion on the guitars in the studio. They experimented a lot on each album and used more real instruments than NIN, but still in the studio they were mostly electronic for most of the last half of their career.

Agreed.
But they've evolved each album.
Like on "With Sympathy", they were almost synth-pop. Almost. Al Jourgenson hates that album, and the way he looked.
But, I like it. Its edgier and darker then any other similar music at the time.

got laid one time by a goth chick who heard me jamming to this in my car by the parade ground.
