I got my first player about 5 years ago and I feel like I need to clean the needle maybe? Any advice? Thanks

A stylus brush is the traditional way to clean your stylus. There are a bunch of other products out there but the brush is the cheapest and the best. Then, get a vinyl brush to clean your albums before every play. This will greatly improve the sound and prolong the life of your stylus.

Put some Dawn in a tub and slosh it around until it’s about 30% bubbles. You want the water warm but NOT hot. Most purists will tell you soak it for 36 hours but I find 24 is more than enough. Air dry it, (do not tumble dry, it could damage the stylus). I like to wait a few extra hours on the dry to be sure. Enjoy!

Guyz, I reject the modern conveniences of having any song available 24/7 and bought a record player instead. Because a communist I follow on twitter loves snaps and crackles.

But there's a problem.

The needle is collecting somthing. A debris; A dust like anomaly. What do I do????!?!?!

Will simply wiping it off with my soft hands and/or a paper towel make me alt right?

I’m having trouble with my brand new turntable. A lot of my vinyl albums are skipping. Does anyone know what needs to be adjusted to correct this? The owner’s manual was lousy, no written instructions for set-up, basically a rebus. I hate when they do that.

I’m dealing with this on an AT LP60 I neglected. Can I just replace the part that holds the needle on the arm?
