He got about $500 of it from me. Totally worth it.

Wonder what john would have been doing if he were still alive. How many other songs would feel were important?

Paul being the only one left alive besides Ringo, feels like it has to add to the price factor.

No question

Old man John Lennon would have been interesting to say the least

Care to explain? There aint many acts that I would walk across the street to see, much less pay money for tickets. Any of the original Beatles though would probably get a few of my dollars. They were pretty damn talented.

you kinda suck at the trolling thing if that’s what you’re trying to get at. What you or anyone thinks of the Beatles has nothing to do with what i said about PM being the most successful musician of the last 100 years

I saw him at Smoothie King back in May. I was kind of blah about going - my wife suggested going up to Shreveport when he was there a couple of years ago and I shot the idea down. But God, he put on a great show. I was weeping during Something. The catalog of songs he dipped into. Wow. If you get a chance to see him, GO.

Because of the changing nature of entertainment, technology and the world at large, Paul McCartney will probably stand for all of human history as the most commercially successful pop musician.

I'm guessing it wouldn't have changed Paul's success much. John was great but he wasn't Paul--post-Beatles he never seemed to care about all the fame and incessant touring like Paul has done over the decades. Likely he would have still put out some great stuff here and there but I'd have been surprised if he had even done even one world tour over the same amount of time that Paul's been non-stop.

He'd have probably been happiest as the character he was portrayed as in "Yesterday", the movie.

But worth the far-lesser price if I was picking 2 of the 4.

The guy still puts on a great show.

...and the Beatles were and still remain the GOAT.

That won't change.
