Eric Clapton.
I say this often. That dude can dress and has allowed himself to get old. Going for the dapper gent look at times. It looks like your Dads cardiologist happens to shed on guitar.

Coolest thing Clapton did style-wise was stick the cig in the strings on the headstock of the guitar

I second all the nominations of Josh Homme.
I nominate Lemmy, especially when he was younger.
Bon Scott was a bad arse dude.
Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Cedric Bixler-Zavala of Mars Volta also are up there.

Absolutely.
Here's another Bay Area Badass, Johnny Cipollina from Quicksilver. The hair, the looks, the guitar ... RIP JC:

FWIW, here's my definition of a totally cool-looking rocker:
A guy (or chick) who, if you introduce to your parents, would have them thinking, "How the hell does our son know this degenerate piece of garbage?"

Sure thing. Yeah it's good shite if you don't mind pretty heavy. Sludge metal. They have so many great riffs but this opening riff is one of my favorites by anyone.
