Show me 1 post where I've posted about a jam band like fish. That's the one genre of music that I really don't care for.

You haven't posted anything jam band but there was a time. It's when Kafka had to start a Non-phish related band thread.
To me it's not worse than post the greatest cover of all time thread or rank your favorite guitarist thread.

Misread the post. Apologies. After going to grad school with a bunch of hippies, I pretty much hate the Dead/fish etc. now. Never did the drugs that I think one has to to appreciate that music...

Most of threads I start are not directly related to The Cure. But my answer to the thread a lot of times is about them but not always.
You might want to go look at the threads I’ve started. They are not about “depressing Britpop/Goth/Post-Punk stuff”
I have discovered a lot of new music on this board from certain posters. Like you said people have their own taste. I don’t think we have similar taste.
So you can keep posting music you like and I’ll do the same.
Or you can keep adding crap to the old threads Kafka revives every night
