DMB - so much to say
DMB - #41 (live at Luther college)
DMB - lie in our graves
DMB - the maker (live at radio city)
The above are only to be learned if you have a white Jeep.

Little wing - there are some great fingerstyle adaptations

Foo fighters - Everlong

EC - Layla
EC - tears in heaven

John Mayer - who says
John Mayer - stop this train
John Mayer - in your atmosphere
John Mayer - the heart of life

That dude - classical gas

Fleetwood Mac - landslide
Fleetwood Mac - never going back again

If you are playing for your CYO group and want that high school pussy - any Jack Johnson

My novice assumption is that if you can play the intro to Satellite, your fingers can stretch to do just about anything? I'm sure other music out there is faster, and maybe my 43 year old hands just can't do it. But I can't see a left hand doing much more?

I have very average hands. Satellite I just have to move quickly and it's kind of sloppy. Others like #41 I've transcribed to make it a little easier on me.

I don't think even Dave plays it with those big stretches anymore. [I'm referring to the Ab-Eb-Bb sequence that starts the song.] He started having carpal tunnel issues many years ago and changed the way he plays certain songs.

The original way was:
e|------
B|------
G|------
D|-----8
A|---6--
E|-4----

The new way (and the way I do it):
e|------
B|------
G|-----3
D|------
A|---6--
E|-4----

Nice list I know a lot of those already, but a lot of them I don't, but I will.

Finger picking?

All John Prine songs. Maybe I'm an old man, but if I could play all of those I'd be good. A little depressing but good..

"Little Martha" as done by Duane Allman and Dickie Betts on the Eat a Peach album. It is played in open E tuning and is a fun song to play. Also a good introduction to using open tunings.

CSN-Suite Judy Blue Eyes is fun to play. It's 4 "suites" within a song.

I love this song, but I'm not sure if I could pull of the vocals.

I get an Acoustic Guitar Monthly that always has 3-4 songs. That was one.

I'm not a great singer by any stretch, but I give it my best.

I've been working lately on Hey Ya by Outcast/Andre 3000.

This guys version.
