As a result of Bill's arrest he drafted an initiative ordinance ballot measure, collected thousands of signatures on a petition, organized the campaign supporting the ballot measure including doing radio and TV interviews. On June 4, 1974 the voters of San Francisco approved the initiative ballot measure known as Proposition "J" and the initiative ordinance Bill wrote became law.

There are both male and female sea serpents but during one of our sightings we saw an adult sea serpent with a baby sea serpent wrapped around its upper body so we assumed that sea serpent was a female.

Because of that sighting my brother and I decided to refer to the sea serpents we saw as a she.

The Clark brothers. Those were funny posts. Then he had a fight with the SF arts council or something but was in the right on that one.

It was The San Francisco Arts Commission. Bill refused to use the pronoun "MX" when referring to a lesbian who was one of the administrators of the Street Artist Program.

I don't doubt you, but I'd love to see the footage of this. Is it out there on YouTube?

No, that's what caused me to be banned here because several members of this board contacted the SF Arts Commission and complained about forcing Bill to use the pronoun "MX" when he didn't want to use it. The SF Arts Commission contacted the administrators of this board and complained about being harassed by members of this board.

Bill got arrested for disrupting a public meeting when he refused to stop talking during his public comment.

You are telling me that Chicken bowed to pressure from the fricking Arts Commission of the city of SF.

You are making him sound like a little bitch queer or something like that?

No, I'm not interested in discussing street artists politics in this thread.

It's on YouTube. You can search for it yourself.

You can search on YouTube using, "Mike Addario's San Francisco street artists videos".

That will have a lot of videos about the fight to legalize selling handmade arts and crafts on the sidewalks of San Francisco. The video of Bill being arrested is one of the videos posted there.

Here's the video of when Bill got arrested during his public comment at a SF Board of Supervisors committee meeting on August 10, 1972.
