How much has his show changed over the years?

I'm a huge Floyd fan mostly of Gilmour...

Richard Wright was very good and his contributions to the 70's Floyd sound is underappreciated

Waters is one of the least talented musicians to ever have that level of success.

There is just nothing about this statement that is true. Roger was the driving force and wrote 90% of the music. His bass riffs are one of the things that drove the bluesy Floyd sound

I dislike him but I will not shite on his ability. Dude was amazingly talented

Its bigger, more extravagant, more lights, lazer, musician's are good and hate theme is more frequent.

There is a concert from this year on Youtube. Just watch 5 mins of it.

The lasers at the end for the dark side stuff was really cool. It's worth it to just hear brain damage/eclipse IMO.

Obviously I would prefer Pink Floyd with Roger, but if I had to choose between seeing roger waters and Pink Floyd without waters, it’s still Pink Floyd without waters.

If you want to just sit back and watch a incredible concert, get David Gilmour live and Gdansk. You will not be sorry. One of the best live shows ever in my opinion

That live version of Echoes is legendary in my opinion. When time machines go on Amazon, I am getting one and going back to that concert

Went to The Wall concert in college about 10 yrs ago. Was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. Sucks he has to be all political now.

You do realize The Wall is a very political album?

That dissonance aside, it is also possible to disagree with someone's point of view and not intrinsically dislike them.

Maybe not on TD......

Maybe?

And Roger basically did the entire Wall. It was his album. It also broke up the band, but to say he's not talent is just crazy.

His rantings and speeches did get annoying at times during the show, but I knew what to expect going in. I wish he could just do a show like Gilmour did and leave all the rest out, but he is never going to be willing to do that.

Well you are just full of bad takes, aren't you?

If anything, the final cut is obviously the worst, as it was just done to end things and close out the band.

Were there any fans there? Seem to remember it just being the band recording. But hell yes, put me down.

I was there. Hands down, nothing else even comes close, the best concert I've ever been to. Such an unreal and mind blowing experience.

When that crystal ball lit up during Comfortably Numb, I may have had an orgasm.

When Pink Floyd played there in 1972, there were no fans. It was a daytime recording that was played on live TV. No fans...

When David Gilmour played there in 2017, there were some "fans" were there. I am thinking about 2,000 or so. Rumor was that most of them were friends, family members and media. It was a very small group and I believe everyone stood.

The Gilmour at Pompeii was a great concert and the 4K recording is excellent. Great light show by David for such a small event.

I just prefer the Gdansk concert. It had so many good tunes and that crowd was amazing at that ship yard

I didn't realize it was broadcast live. No tape delay or editing at all? Pretty amazing for back in the day. And I thought Metallica was amazing for broadcasting the 40th anniversary shows live.

Given The Final Cut is simply an album of songs rejected from The Wall because they weren't good enough, I don't think anyone could legitimately believe The Wall is their worst album.
