Hopefully pull in greatest lineup ever.
Who you think they bring?
I’m hoping Rolling Stones and/or Paul McCartney for starters.

Definitely not going that day then. Logistical nightmare.

Quoi?
First Jazz Fest was 1970. 2nd in 1971, 3rd in 1972, 4th in 1973...and so on.
The algorithm for calculating which number Jazz Fest is (Year-1970)+1. Thus, 2019-1970+1=...50

On the outside track I will always see about 10 port a potties each with a line of people 5 deep. I keep walking toward the middle of the string of port a potties and always find a few empty with no line. I have never had to wait in line for one.

New Orleans Jazz Fest
Key Dates: April 27 - May 6, 2018
The 2018 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival will celebrate 48 years of musical and cultural history at this year's star-studded New Orleans event of the year. Started in 1970, the Jazz & Heritage Festival continues to showcase the most important names in music history alongside many of Louisiana's favorite entertainers.
The festival celebrates the indigenous music and culture of New Orleans and Louisiana, so the music encompasses every style associated with the city and the state: blues, R&B, gospel, Cajun, zydeco, Afro-Caribbean, folk, Latin, rock, rap, country, bluegrass and everything in between. And of course there is lots of jazz, both contemporary and traditional.
More details about New Orleans Jazz Fest line-up can be found at www.NOJazzFest.com.
2019-49 = 1970

Well, every big screen at the stages was constantly advertising 2019 as the 50th Fest.

damn. 50 years of jazz fest and this thread is talking about toilets and credit cards as major areas of needs. that's really sad for such an event.
