Just my opinion. I listen to a lot of hip-hop music and I've heard most of Tupac's stuff. I just don't like his music that much.

By the way, you can be a talented lyricist and still not make great music. I wouldn't say Kanye is a better rapper than Tupac but I will say he's a better artist.

You've done nothing to refute the claim beside say Tupac is a good story-teller (which I agree).

You could have offered a Tupac album that you think is better than Reasonable Doubt or Black Album.

And claiming that someone knows nothing about hip-hop and then saying Scott Storch is the best thing to come out of the Roots was hilarious. Black Thought is a great rapper.

Real Life, Exhibit A: Wherein Method Man destroys Tupac on his own track.

2pac -- I got my mind made up (ft. Method Man)

Ahh, Tupac Shakur the lyrical genius:

Not at all. Guy disappeared, but was amazing when he was doing his thing.

So was LL Cool J, but that doesn't make him a top ten lyricist.

You know nothing about hip hop music. Slick Rick is a legend. Do you know how many songs have been written in tribute to Slick Rick.

And he remains hip hop's greatest storyteller.

Again, I'm wondering if you've even listened to any of his material.

Scarface was a better storyteller than slick rick.

[quote]Common is responsible for the single best rap verse of which I'm aware.

What verse would that be??
