Teenager still gets me.

Ill never forget popping this in my moms grand prix for my first listen on the way home from school. she shut that shite off after 15 seconds.

I came across the Team Sleep album thus year, not sure how this album eluded me for so long.

Digital bath is a flawless song

The new album is one of the biggest casualties of corona imo. That and old people obviously. They were talking about "finishing touches" last November. Im assuming theyre waiting at this point for the ability to tour immediately after

Overrated. Around the Fur is much better. I really like Diamond Eyes too.

I saw one of the articles on my feed and that really hit me when I saw the 20

I used to think I was going to melt this CD with how much I listened to it

Digital Bath is still one of my favorite songs of all-time.

Elite was definitely on my pump-up CDs. Listen to that and I'd be ready to go hit some people

Oral history about the album from The Ringer

Lots of details about how they made the album from the band and the producer

Disagree, and I love Around the Fur. Also, replace Diamond Eyes with Koi No Yokan.

White Pony is actually my 4th favorite album of theirs. But these 4 can all be interchanged from 1-4 depending on my mood. They’re all so good. I’ve really been into KNY lately.

1. Around the Fur
2. Koi No Yokan
3. Diamond Eyes
4. WP

If this next one is even close to as amazing as Koi No Yokan the wait will have been well worth it

Guy who wrote that, Matt Sigur, used to be a music writer for The Advocate and 225. He also played in some local bands. He moved to Chicago a few years ago.

Same for me. I don't think I knew there was a second meaning to White Pony at that point, either.

Great album holds some of the most nostalgia more than anything else for me.

It leaked about a week before release and 16 year old me was riding in the back of a car from BR to Jacksonville, FL with my first "real" love of my life and we were living our best life, with one headphone each blasting this album

For sure.

This album made girls in the early 2000s panties come ON [OFF]

It’s the little horse that could. It’s running free, but it’s a little bit older of a horse these days. It’s an amazing horse. That’s my little buddy. It’s the album that allowed us to be who we wanted to be and set us up for some sort of a career.
