Michael Berry, a radio host here, apparently worked with "T" at a papasitos or a restaurant a long time ago? But he went on about how they worked together and what he's doing now. Then dropped the shinyrib reference.
It became a Beaumont/orange discussion.

Key lyric from the list:
"So now you find yourself in 82"
Even though Wetton allegedly didn't mean it that way (the year, that is), a great moment in time - every time I hear it - I'm back in high school.
"Centerfold" was my favorite song of the year.

Was coming to add that
Honestly, though, 1982 was a year of suckage for my favorite bands. They were in the autumn of their careers or hadn't formed yet or just didn't release an album that year.
I did see the Police, J Geils, and The Dead in 82, three top 10 concerts for me so there is that.

That top 20 is absolute shite... with the exception of #10.
#22 is EASILY the best song in that top 100. Almost all of them are crap.
eta: I usually don't downvote people... but you deserved it.

I felt bad for anyone with that phone number, imagine how many drunks and kids called it and asked for Jenny!
Oh, and Guilty.

That's OK Rex...I've been downvoting your threads since the up/down system was initiated...

I think I saw that band at Alex Box when I was in school.
