Congrats on having one of the funniest viewing events in your life. It's 12 seasons in on a 3rd tier network and people are still talking about it for a reason.


A top 5 list is downright impossible because there are scenes in almost every episode that I laugh out loud at even after 5 viewings.

1. The Gang Buys a Boat (Dicktowel money used to buy a delapidated houseboat, sweet Dee dancing like an inflatable man to 90's rap tunes, and then the implications of it all)
1. The Gang Gets Invincible (the Mcpoils, green man on acid, and "Donavan McNab" makes an appearance driving up in his late 90's compact car)
1.Sweet Dee has A Heart Attack (I'll admit the subplot with Frank is kind of weak, but Dennis and Dee working out with Coach Dick-n-Ballz, and then Charlie's greatest scene ever)
1. Dennis and Dee go on Welfare (this is just a straight up hilarious episode solely because of Dee and Dennis...see below)

1. Hundred Dollar Baby (NOBODY has mentioned this so I'm glad to bring it here. Charlie becoming an underground fighter by being the best at taking a punch, Sweet Dee and Charlie getting roided out, and then Sweet Dee is hungry...really hungry)




I'm starting to realize that Sweet Dee really is the lynchpin to this show.

Just off the top...

Reynolds vs Reynolds: Cereal Defense
The Gang Hits the Road
The Nightman Cometh
The Gang Gets Stranded in the Woods
The Gang gets Analyzed

But honestly, I could never pick just 5.

Hard to pick 5 episodes, but my 3 favorite scenes are:

(1) Frank climbing out of the couch in A Very Sunny Christmas
(2) Charlie sex scene in The Gang Hits the Slopes
(3) Charlie slurring his words at the end of The Gang Beats Boggs

There are two episodes listed by a lot of people that I find to be middle of the road. Now don't get me wrong, I still love them but are nowhere near the top in laughes.

Dennis Reynolds: An Erotic Life
Sinbad and Rob Thomas just don't make me laugh like I guess it does other people. Frank and Mac were...well I can't remember what frank and Mac were doing. The only funny plot was Dee and Charley doing their YouTube video (honestly I remember this being funnier when YouTube was a new thing)


Jersey Shore
I may have chuckled a couple of times but that was it. In fact I remember thinking that I hoped the show hadn't jumped the shark because "rum ham" is the most memorable thing from that episode.


Btw: I just want to say that I am not researching any of these episodes on the internet. I remember almost every single plot, subplot, and sub-subplot of every episode from seasons 1-7.

Seasons 8-10 are murky and I haven't seen season 11 yet but have seen 5 episodes of season 12. The Gang goes to a water park was a top episode. They really haven't lost a step imo.

Charlie drinking sunscreen? Charlie not knowing geography and wondering if he could swim to Europe. Frank and Mac getting saved by the Guidos. The waitress only hanging out with Charlie because she was on drugs. Hobos fricking under the pier. Etc. It's a great episode.
