Shawshank Redemption
One of my favorite scenes is the roof top beer scene, dunno why but I loved the fact that he got all those guys who haven't had a real drink in many years a nice cold beer.

Right now? Sandlot, because it's Opening Day. Tomorrow? Probably Blues Brother or Smokey and the Bandit

Honestly?
I got jaded as I got older. So the movies that I consider my favorites are from my childhood. It's has to be between Neverending Story and Goonies.

My favorite movie? I'm going with the simple criteria that I could watch this movie, any day, and in any mood I'm in.
I'm going with Coming to America.

Seriously though, this is probably my pick. Outstanding call.

quote:Braveheart is a good call as well. I love that movie and it was my favorite movie of the 90's. But it's not an inaccurate portrayal of history. It is the movie adaptation of the epic poem, The Acts and Deeds of Sir William Wallace, Knight of Elderslie, a historical fiction.
I know it's an inaccurate portrayal of history, but my favorite movie is Braveheart.
