mine in order:
1. Everybody's A.A. (LSU stuff + the him getting old and insignificant is very realistic)
2. Remember the Titans (the racial issues were real. I played hs football during this time and we had the same issues)
3. Rudy (I am also a Notre Dame hater but love the story. My dad was as big of an LSU fan as his dad is a Notre Dame fan so I relate to that part of it.
4.Longest Yard-Original (Burt at his coolest with some guys who are believable as prisoners)
5. Friday Night Lights ("If you wanna win, put Boobie in". All of the kid's stories are kind of gut wrenching. Boobie's injury, The fumbling running back's dad, the quarterback's mom. If the linebacker who made good grades & got a scholarship hadn't have been it it it would have been a real tragedy)
Honorable mentions:
North Dallas Forty (was kind of cutting edge and more realistic than most sports movies before it.)
Best of Times (the winning team's players being more successful with their carreers is one of those themes that always makes me wonder.)

I am an old 51 year old guy.
Just curious as to whether any younger guys thought the Adam Sandler "Longest Yard" is as good or better than the older one.
