Georgie and Mandy show is pretty bad. I’ve tried to get into it but just not written very well. And Mandy’s Mom is annoying.

My favorite character is Dr. John Sturgis played by Wallace Shawn. He is a truly underrated actor.

I started watching this yesterday and it’s a fun show. It’s a nice change for me because I usually only watch TV-MA shows on Netflix.

I meant the whole "boosters are going to fire you" George quitting to work at the sporting goods store, then his best friend saying he wanted the job and going behind Georges back. Then later on everything is magically resolved the black coach is now single, George is still the coach, no hard feelings for everyone trying to fire him.
Loved the callback to Coach and seeing them. Meemaw is awesome but completely different than the lady who was in BBT. Not only in looks but also in personality.

My sister has been asking me to watch this show for a long time and I finally started watching last night and made it to Episode 13. I'm planning on watching some more tonight.
My thoughts:
MeeMaw is my favorite character
I think the better episodes are when Young Sheldon isn't the focus
It is eeriely similar to "The Middle"

Sheldon is very unlikeable. The only time I like him when he becomes a real kid, like when the tornado approached and he was truly scared.

The characters outside of Sheldon actually started to overshadow him as the show progressed

It really is a great sitcom. Excellent writing. So many episodes make me think about the human condition, laugh at us humans, and occasionally tear up - revealing the uniqueness of being human.
Each older character is depicted as having a unique form of wisdom that the writers reveal under varying circumstances.
It’s a great contrast to the Sheldon character who has more smarts than wisdom.
Meemaw makes me look forward to being that age. Relax, don’t take life so seriously, and have fun.
I love the way they use Mary and Sheldon to help explore religion.
The other star is the Missy character. It makes me wish I had a daughter like her. But then I realize it’s ok, because I have 3 sons like her.
I also appreciate they removed some of the annoying flaws of Big Bang that disrespects the audience: no annoying laugh track, and no hardcore commitment to filling every scene with bright colors.
