Now until September 2nd, Disney is offering a “Founder’s Circle” deal for the streaming service that cuts $23 off its annual price, making it cost just $3.92 a month. The catch? You have to sign up for three years of the service at once, which comes out to $140.97.

I'm going to stick with Netflix. I'm not even that big of a fan of their service but at least they produce original content.

I was already planning on getting this, so it's a no-brainer for me.

I went and tried to create an account, but was told my email was already linked (I guess through ESPN or something). Reset the password and created the account.

So now, 36 hrs they say, then will get an email. We'll see.

I initially thought this as well but they look like they may have a decent legacy and new lineup for adults, though no R rated stuff. The old and new Star Wars and Marvel universe stuff is intriguing. This link has a list of the content both initial and planned for years 1 and 2 Cnet

I read that there is going to be a Hulu/ESPN+/Disney+ discount which I am waiting on since I have both Hulu and ESPN+ now, I don't want to make a multi-year commitment yet.

Bundle for all three is going to be 12.99.

It is the Ad version of Hulu though.

I love Disney animation, especially the classics. And I have no kids (at least, that I know about.)

Love the Pixar catalogue.

Love Marvel (so far), and the streaming line-up looks promising.

Still holding out hope the Mandalorian & Obi-Wan series can get the Star Wars train back on track.

Love Nat Geo. I miss it on YoutubeTV since I cut the cord.

Love this deal. I was gonna sign up for the $7/mo. sub anyway (and drop $15.99 Netflix that I don't watch.) The $4 deal just cemented signing up. Just waiting on my Redeem Now offer to eventually show up.

This may be the push that I need to finally cut the cord; my primary TV setup is Cox cable but I've been increasingly testing out the Firesticks (I have Amazon Prime already, and this will be my 2nd paid streaming service).

The biggest thing that makes me hesitant on that is the data plan caps, and the big changeover to 4k.

Signed up for D23 last night and just signed up for 3 years for $140.97.

For us it's a a crazy deal for $3.92 a month.

Nah, I'm good. I'll do it month to month. Saving $23 a year is chump change. I prefer the autonomy of cancelling when I want.
