My takeaway was that Summer will decide she truly wants to be part of the solution going forward and comes back to Dutton Ranch in the last few episodes.
The same goes for showing Jimmy in episode 9.... John forgave Jimmy's debt in one of the past seasons and allowed him to go to Texas to chase his dreams, while wearing the Yellowstone brand on his chest.
Guess we will see how it all plays out.....

I'm not saying its the biggest pile of dog shite ever, or I wouldn't still be watching even if it is mostly just to see how it wraps up.
It just went from one of the better things on TV to sort of mindless television. I could suspend belief for a while on some things, but it just sort of jumped the shark and now half of it is a commercial for other series or other things Taylor Sheridan is doing.

Rip and Beth were in Texas at the hotel for a night or 2 then the next scene they wake up in Montana? Are these flashbacks or time jumps? Doesn't make any sense

I seriously was not gonna watch this season, but my wife wouldn’t let it go.
It’s the most over the top glorification of cowboy culture I’ve ever seen. For 3 seasons now, at least, each 45 min episode has no joke consisted of 30 or more minutes of them saddling horses and riding off with whoever paid Sheridan to be on the show for their song, horse spinning, mentions of them being “cowboys”, Jimmy being a retarded but pulling straight smoke shows, Sheridan pumping his other shows and brand, Beth being a ridiculously unrealistic bitch with no consequences, and more horse spinning with MAYBE 10 minutes of actual plot

The Casey actor must be terrible because he should have gotten that scene. It was meaningless for Beth to do the scene because she wasn't believing Jaime whether he killed John Dutton or not.
