I've been around a frick ton of real cowboys. Never...and i mean never not once have I seen them sliding and spinning thier horses.
One guy I know shut he show off on the first episode and never watched again when they put a horse down with a shot under the chin smh

kayce and family are remodling the house. hose is don, now kayce comes home crying after just finding out his dad is dead.
rip is back in montana talking to lloyd and tells carter to "cowboy up".
2 episodes in and all we got was beth/jamie/whore interaction for 2 minutes. kayce is mad.... end of episode.

Thinking we are getting somewhere, the scene flips to Teeter and three dudes on a lonely Texas plain bantering about crap that adds zero context.
And, wedged in the last two episodes, Tate gets grossed out by mom and dad kissing. “Get a room!”

Caught a nice sized plot hole: Teeter is FROM Texas. She would’ve known about rattlesnakes, and thus would’ve secured her tent flap better.

This show is just awful. The 6666 stuff is crowbarred in- "our kids learn about 6666 in school"
Jaime not being able to attempt to look at Beth in the eye was so ridiculous. Is he a toddler? Beth leaves and 30 seconds later he's calmly masterminding a meeting discussing the next steps of their plan.

If there were 10-12 episodes remaining the Cowboy stuff in in the 6666 infomercial wouldn't bother me as I do like the bunkhouse crew. With only 6 episodes it's too much. We should be seeing 105 Bunkhouse story and 90% main story instead, we're getting the reverse.
Beth stealing the 6666 merchandising model for the Yellowstone has some merit if we get a season 6 but that whole subplot is being wasted.
My prediction is Casey and Jamie both die. Casey's vision seeing the end of he and Monica is what I'm basing that on. I'm not sure how the rest will play out except for the prophecy of the Yellowstone reverting back to the Indians after 7 generations will be fulfilled through Tate

The Jamie and Beth scene was awful. Jamie in the early seasons was smooth as hell. He is now a damn blabbering idiot around superwoman Beth

On a side note, there really are that many rattlesnakes in Texas. In September I caught 84 in 1 week (77 Western diamondbacks, 6 ornate black-tailed, and 1 Mojave), including 35 in 1 night.
And there ain’t nobody stomping a full sized rattlesnake without getting tagged.

That’s because early on Jamie’s confidence was fueled by his father’s approval. He was always subservient but now that he fell out with his father he’s looking validation from anywhere and is a shell of himself that is being used.

Sheridan can write a good "man movie" but IMO sucks at writing a series.
We started off strong for a season or two and now I'm just tuning in so I can see how it ends, not because each episode is really interesting or anything. Game of Thrones did a better job putting you inside the world they built with dragons and zombies and shite better than Yellowstone has done
