This show is awesome. I thought the different perspectives were extremely interesting and some of the footage is just unbelievable.
I had never heard about the battle over the Aleutian islands.
On a different note, the America: Story of US series looks pretty awesome, too.

I think tonight is Tarawa and the Italian campaign at 8, then at 9 is Operation Overlord and US 8th Air Force.
I'm looking forward to the Normandy landings, hopefully they have found some undamaged footage that has yet to be made public.

Coke, I think its two hours every night thru Saturday. I just didnt start watching the one last night until after 10 and was starting to fall asleep an hour in. I'm going to watch the second hour of episode one and both hours of episode two tonight. Hopefully.

Anybody else get chills when they showed the Nazis executing those Eastern Europeans (I'm blanking on the country). The scene where 10 or so are hanging from the tree then the line of them getting shot really hit me.
