It was part of his joke. He went on talking about how our crazy religious extremists(the catholic church & Scientology) aren't even close to being as crazy as the Muslim extremists. Talked about how an all girls school in a Muslim country was poison bombed by some extremists this week.

That was insane.
Maher was in right-wing mode tonight. He was really tough on the liberals (especially that annoying chick in the middle) and this was my favorite show of the season.

Go watch Hannity spoon feed you your mindless talking points you mental midget.
Maher is basically bizarro Bill O'Reilly only on cable and a lot funnier.
They are my 2 favorite political hosts because they all at least entertain the opposite side and address all viewpoints. O'Reilly leans hard to the right and Maher hard to the left. But they're better than schmucks like Hannity and Olberman who don't even entertain the other side on ANY issue.

I loved how the ultra liberal audience didn't really know how to react to his anti-Muslim rant. 
That ''economist'' was a major joke...no surprise that she came from UC-Berekely. Literally everything she said had something to do with the gov. not taxing enough.

Maher seemed really annoyed with the status quo/democrats tonight. A much better episode than usual, imo. Usually, I don't really enjoy the show and then regret watching. He still gets my attention because his Politically Incorrect show was pretty cutting edge back in the day.

100% correct. Unfortuntately due in large part to talk radio and 24 hours cable news the country has become so polarized that many people believe you have to be at one extreme or the other.....God forbid any nuance to a position.

I hate Maher but that episode was almost watchable. However the episode was ruined by Chris Matthews who simply would not shut up and let anyone finish their point. I also had trouble understanding Matthews with Ted Kennedy's dick in his mouth. Glad Maher nailed him on Kennedy.
