But mine was Tom Cruise in Far and Away.

I could never bring myself to actually watch that one.

And I forgot about Costner in "Robin Hood"--he pulled a Keanu in that one!

some of yall apparently have missed what a bad accent is.

Some of the stuff listed i've seen was pretty good.

Stick to the Costners and Reeves and Quaids, not the Pacino and Bale's.

Yeah, I was gonna say that too. It wasn't so much that is was bad, it was that I couldn't get over hearing him talk like that.

I've heard this opinion before, but I don't think I've ever heard it from someone who knows what a typical Anglo-Zimbabwean accent sounds like. Do you? I know I don't. It may be remarkably accurate for all I know.

All the women in "Steel Magnolias" except for Dolly Parton, although her accent was Tennessee rather than Louisiana.

It's funny how they treated women from North Louisiana like they were living down on the bayou. They all have bad accents in this movie, but Julie Roberts was the worst.

Actually, those who posted on IMDB thought it was pretty good.

Qaid is the quintessential shitty accent. Basically anything in which a "cajun" accent is attempted has turned out to be very bad, except Southern Comfort.

Charlize Theron had an awful southern accent in Legend of Bagger Vance.

But for the most part H-wood actors suck arse with southern accents, no one talks like that shite except in 1800's on plantations

I worked with a guy from South Africa and a white guy from Zimbabwe. I thought Leo's accent was very, very good. In fact, I thought his performance overall in that movie was great.
