No, I'm trying to say that people aren't always reasonable or rational. If all characters in a story are reasonable and rational, then often you don't have a story. There would no Joker if everyone was reasonable and rational. Hell there would be no Han Solo.

How can a civilization 4000 years removed possibly know what that is? It's like saying "well he showed up with the internet."
Well, no.
In this lame arse movie, The Germans showed up with firearms and were met with bows and arrows.
Jump to King Phiilip's War. Yeah I know you never heard of it.
Bullets vs. Bows and arrows.
Just like this stupid movie.

I am typing as slowly as I can.
What the characters said in WW was neither reasonable or rational.
Hippolita said: "The stories I told you as a child were BS."
Diana then - the very next line - says, I must go fight for these poor people."
I am sure you are familiar with Lajos Egri.
When Diana says - " I must fight for these poor people,"it generates what Egri calls a jumping conflict.
Because her mother had just told her - that story is bullshite.
Diana went with Steve Trevor, not because it made sense but because the screenwriter needed her to head for the Western Front.

But they're going to be highly confused on how that happened. They never conceived of gunpowder before. Do you really think we could just give an ancient Egyptian a gun and not expect extreme shock over the weapon's capability and not having a shitload of questions on how it works and how we arrived to this point? They would be in literal shock over it. As an adult, you wouldn't be able to process it.

About the first dozen or so people who responded to this thread said I needed a better troll. Surely I have provided it.

Ask George Custer's guys how that worked out.

Indians were familiar with gunpowder and American technology. They had been around for 300+ years at that point. They just couldn't compete.
Please keep digging yourself deeper with your completely brain dead points.

There is no other way to present them as rational - and more importantly get them to exposit the story if they don't say there is something the police officers can understand.

Did you also think titanic was a horrible movie?
Posted on 6/3/17 at 12:15 am to WhiskeyPapa
We were warned:
Wonder Woman rumored to be just as big a mess as BvS
Remember?
You guys were right on the money. You can ALWAYS rely on secondhand internet rumors.

I didn't say shite in that thread about this, just a few rants on the upcoming Green Lantern.

Are you seriously trying to compare Wonder Woman to Gone with the Wind and Casablanca? You know this movie is about the daughter of a Greek God single handedly destroying the German army to fight another Greek God, right? Why would you take any of that seriously?

This comment makes zero sense, historically speaking.

You didn't even do a good job laying the ground work for this drivel in the other WW thread. Turrible.
The quality of trolling is down across the entire board. Its sad really.

Precisely. He's being a pompous douche that wants us to know that he's read a few books on plot advancement and exposition.
