I don't think we've had the necessary John Wick thread yet this week.

The story of his impossible job would be cool.

I could watch these movies until the end of time.

I would love it. I just kind of wish we could go back in time and get this guy to play young John Wick:

Have an upvote.

I do and don't want to see this at the same time. I think the fantasy of it is better than seeing it.

Now, seeing his first job or something, that would be cool. Seeing the origins of the society, equally cool.

Thank you good sir.

I both do and don't agree with this.

If you look at the insanity of the last two movies and realize that the impossible job would make those look tame, then it would probably be too over the top.

But frick it. I'd still like to see it.

Just like seeing the impossible job, I'd be wary of a movie that tries to show his origins. They could really frick that up. Though I wouldn't mind the classic pupil becomes the master storyline.

While I completely agree with this, John Wick would almost definitely not be in that movie. The society has been around longer than him. But from that universe, a Winston origin story would be awesome. awesome

What if this happens over and over again....?

What if there is always a John Wick....always a Society to fight....

Also, is it bad that I imagine that just how Lawrence Fishburne lives his life now? On a rooftop surrounded by pigeons above a badass secret nightclub refuge for homeless people

This thread just makes you appreciate how much Keanu Reeves really is the fricking man.

Johnny Utah
John Wick
Neo
Ted
Shane "footsteps" Falco
Constantine
Jack Traven
Kevin Lomax
John Harker

Detective Tom Ludlow?? Keanu's career line? The action when he storms their lair and single-handedly takes out the entire Korean gang isn't quite as fast as JW (it's 2008) but the carnage is as brutal thoughout. The payback after the famous "Konichiwa" scene where he let's those thugs kick the sh#t out of him is sublime. If you like Reeves as a ruthless, vigilante killer, do yourself a favor and go get "Street Kings". His "boss" is Forrest Whitaker, his partner is Captain America (Chris Evans), it's a killer plot with even better twist at the end...

Keanu showed great taste in guns 8 years ago and his choice of weapons is a awesome as his JW guns. He starts off the movie giving a gang of Korean sex slave traders a lead shampoo with a Smith and Wesson 4506 .45 ACP ....when he's stripped of it, he carries a beautifully customized (combat hammer & trigger, beaver tail safety) Colt Mk IV Series 80 .45 ACP. Great action flick.

"you've got eyes like apostrophes, dress white, talk black, and drive Jew...so how am I supposed to know what kinda zipper headed, dog munching dink you are if you don't?"

lol, no good clips on youtube, just rent it..

and Keaunu's character "Donaka Mark" in film he directed just months before John Wick "The Man Of Tai Chi" is one of the most sinister villians ever. The action showcases Keaunu's martial arts skill better than Matrix or Wick. Don't miss it!
