re: Will Smith did not truly slap Chris Rock, it was totally staged.

Buddy, you know nothing. If you think a man will stay put and keep his hands behind his back and lean into a slap and that makes you smart then I don’t know what to tell you. Also the video evidence is clear the slap didn’t even strike his face. Also, the two had smiles on their faces immediately after. Not sure why some of you can’t catch a clue but it is obvious you are missing something. I guess it is like they say, common sense isn’t all that common.

Seriously, that is a secondary factor. It literally has nothing to do with the stunt. The video shows you the evidence. It literally captures the moment. He didn’t hit his face. Have you watched the video? You remind me of someone driving their car alone wearing a mask.

If it had been staged both parties would have come out and admitted to it by now. All thing is doing is hurting Will Smith's reputation and casting doubt on whether or not the Academy will let Will Smith - just the fourth black actor to win Best Actor in a Leading Role after Poitier, Washington, and Whittaker - keep his Oscar.

There was a similar stunt one year at the MTV Movie Awards where Sascha Baron Cohen came down from the rafters dressed as an angel and landed on Eminem's face arse first. Eminem took great offense to it and stormed out of the auditorium. The next day, both men came out and admitted that the stunt was staged.

There is also all the information we have about what went on during the commercial break where Chris Rock tried to talk to Will Smith but both him and Jada gave him the cold shoulder. Then you had security coming up to Will Smith and asking him to leave, before aggressively refusing and then getting up to go off to the side and cry. He was comforted by Denzel Washington and Bradley Cooper, among others, who calmly walked him back to his seat as he pulled himself together.

After Chapelle, no one ripped into Juicy Smolliétt more than Chris Rock. No way in hell would Chris have staged this.

bc according to OP... its just doesn't make any sense that chris rock wouldn't act like he was at sonic and throw down, or dodge/flee the assault he didnt expect. also bc chris wasnt knocked to the ground...by a slap. nor were there significant signs of trauma ...from a slap. and because the'pitch' of the slap wasnt what op imagined...

I don’t think you understand how conspiracy theorists think. There would be still frame pics from it with his eyes doing something to prove he wasn’t really knocked out. They have a problem for every answer.
