I keep seeing this argument, but it's hard to buy it when Smith has only appeared in 6 films between 2002 and 2013 with one being a cameo in Men in black II and another appearing as himself in a documentary.

You would have to go out of your way to have this kid shoved down your throat.

Wild Wild West is a guilty pleasure of mine. Sure, it is one of the most ridiculous movies you may ever see, but I watch it every time it's on.

I read lots of negative reviews before I saw it. That may be the key. I did not hate it.
