I noticed that....De Niro was looking at everyone BUT Letterman and only gave him one or two word answers, if any. Definitely awkward. He answered Dustin Hoffman's questions more than he did Letterman's.

De Niro

Isn't De Niro notorious for being extremely shy and reserved by nature? He's good friends with Hoffman so it was probably a lot easier to talk to him than someone like Letterman who he doesn't know very well.

too late to be acting like an a-list actor. Letterman should have asked him why he hasn't been in a non shite stinker in over 20 years. frick De Niro.

Goodfellas, Cape Fear, Casino, Heat, Analyze This, and Meet the Parents disagree.

Heat, Casino, Goodfellas, and Cape Fear all early to mid '90s. Analyze This is terrible, and Meet the Parents is a one trick Pony.

Suck his dick all you want, but the guy has been involved in dreck since his split with Scorsese.

Which makes it ten years, not twenty.

And I get it... he's been in some shitty movies lately. But really? frick De Niro?

DeNiro, Pacino and Nicholson all pick up easy paychecks these days. BUT they still nail some good performances when they're in the mood or the roles come along. In DeNiro's case: City by the Sea, The Good Shepherd and What Just Happened were all solid.

And I'm sure he doesn't "hate" Letterman. He's just very uncomfortable in live interviews.

He probably got annoyed by Dave bumbling and stuttering while trying to ask a simple question.

In addition to the others, Jackie Brown???
Saying he hasn't done anything good in twenty years is just stupid. If you don't like the guy, which you clearly don't, that's fine. But FYI, pretty much every actor on the planet starts to slack off or play in crappier movies as they get past their prime, with the exception of maybe 2-3 guys. Quit acting like he's the first to do this.

Men of Honor was very good as well. I always forget about that one.
