shite, forget Rust, go hang in ABQ after dark for a while and you will encounter lawless wilding going on at will with little to no consequences.

Dust 2001 is a trippy movie that goes from urban crime movie to Western about two brothers. One is a mercenary and the other is a bounty hunter hunting him. It's two or three stories in one. The relationship between a robber and a tough old robbery victim, Urban crime story is good too.
It's been 20 years since I've watched it, but I liked it a lot. IMDb

Add Wind River. Sicario is also more a Western than not. The Revenant.
2007 was the greatest year for Westerns probably ever. No idea what the OP is talking about.

That bad?? I'll scratch that one off the list lol
Nah, watch it. The wife and I watched it one day when it came out cause we were searching for something. I said, "Oh look, Kurt Russell is in this let's watch."
It was creepy, scary, and awesome. I was not ready for the scene and what came after. My mouth was open, and I looked over at her and said, "I promise I didn't know that was gonna happen."

‘Not made anymore’ implies not made recently, IMO.
