Dust 2001 is a trippy movie that goes from urban crime movie to Western about two brothers. One is a mercenary and the other is a bounty hunter hunting him. It's two or three stories in one. The relationship between a robber and a tough old robbery victim, Urban crime story is good too.

It's been 20 years since I've watched it, but I liked it a lot. IMDb

Add Wind River. Sicario is also more a Western than not. The Revenant.

2007 was the greatest year for Westerns probably ever. No idea what the OP is talking about.

Nah, watch it. The wife and I watched it one day when it came out cause we were searching for something. I said, "Oh look, Kurt Russell is in this let's watch."

It was creepy, scary, and awesome. I was not ready for the scene and what came after. My mouth was open, and I looked over at her and said, "I promise I didn't know that was gonna happen."
