Who would win? Robert Baratheon in his prime or the Mountain?

Robert in his prime was taller than pretty much all of his peers by a head and said to be one of the strongest man in the realm. He was also an extremely skilled warrior possibly the best of his time with maybe the exception of Ser Barristan Selmy and Arthur Dayne.
And then you have Gregor Clegane. Biggest and strongest man in the realm. Swings a two handed great sword with one hand, armor no ordinary man could wear etc etc. But perhaps not as skilled a warrior as others because he doesn’t necessarily have to be skilled when you can just brute force and strength your way through most opponents.
So who ya got?

And who was a better warrior than Bran the Broken?

It depends on whether or not they can find the breastplate stretcher

Seems like a strength on strength battle. That axe Robert swung was a bad arse weapon but I’d go with the Mountain because of reach. The opposite approach from the Viper was effective but Robert ain’t dancing around like that.

It seems to me that both fighters have the same basic style. Very direct, head-on fighters.
Therefore, the bigger and stronger one wins.
Mountain.

Have we ever had a "best swordsman" in GOT thread? If not, we should.
