Wesley Crusher.
No one else could make me instantly hate an episode with such vitriol and definiteness as he could. He only had to appear on the screen and I just knew he was going to annoy the shite out of me for the entire hour.
Yeah, but he got to make out with a very young Ashley Judd, and you and I did not.

It's a fun discussion, but the real answer is the easy and boring one. It's the Q. They're "omnipotent." By the mere definition of the word, it is impossible to be more powerful than that.

Yep. The only thing we're not 100% positive they can do is transport to alternate universes since all the times they seem to have done so could also be explained as dream states/hallucinations.

The boy?

lol. Wes Hot American Summer.

If anyone gets those references, I am also slightly embarrassed for you. For those that don't, check out The Greatest Gen. It's a podcast by two people slightly embarrassed to have a star trek podcast.

Awesome and funny podcast. Especially their version of Wesley.

And Kevin. Kevin gets mentioned a lot after his episode.

In conventional terms - yes. But, the point of the thread (unless I misunderstood) is that, for example the Q Continuum is so powerful it doesn't need a military. Their will is all they need.

I've never watched a single episode... But I just figured the cyborg professor x and the Klingons were the main baddies.

Kligons are at least nominal allies by TNG I think.
