Around here, it's amazing to go to the movies on Sunday mornings. Low cost, never packed. Star Wars was the worst we've seen it and it wasn't that bad.

I'm going Sunday because it's the first day that myself, my wife, and my daughters were all available.
Our IMax has reserved seating with recliners, so being packed hasn't been an issue regardless of the day or time.

Imagine if James Bond had a focused narrative tell one story with a bunch of serialized stories.
And instead of a bunch of studios flooding the market with Westerns and Monster/slasher schlock it was one studio and that's all it is.
So marvel studios puts out 3 movies a year. And while each has been it's own stand alone film about a hero winning the day, many have also been moving a narrative in the background through macguffins and side characters that a bigger evil is questing and on the move for ultimate power. While the heroes themselves have been tested and in some cases weakened by their victories.
So now the biggest bad we know about is here to collect what he thinks is his, and earth which is nothing special has harbored at one time or another 4 out of the 6 macguffins he wants.

Theaters sold out quick here since we waited until the last minute. Earliest show we could go is Friday at 10:20.

My one fear is sitting in theater waiting for it to start and some frick nugget that’s already seen it talking about the good parts.
