I think people are in denial about southern accents. I live in East TN and plenty of people sound close to Posey. The husband keeps slipping into British though.

Mike White has struck gold with the series. I hope he does these for a long time
The tension building is unmatched and you just know the whole time that some other shite is going on in the background and people are hiding stuff

The daughter and younger son definitely have some sort of secret plan they don't want the others to know about. Maybe it has something to do with him being secretly gay, but I think it's more than that. Like he's there for a sex change operation or something.
I wonder if the older brother hooks up with Greg's girlfriend and then Greg finds out and goes crazy and starts shooting? I think he's going to play a big role in this season and not be just a throwaway.

Listening to her after the credits they 100% should have just stuck with her normal voice. Not sure what we'd actually be in denial about, it's an awful accent. I have some close friends from NC that are pretty dang country and they sound nothing like that. Need to text them and see if they watched and what they thought.
Me and two guys at work talked about the episode yesterday at work and the first thing one of the guys mentioned was how terrible their accents were. There's a reason why everyone is talking about it, and it's not because of denial, it's just not good. They are a family with like 5 different accents

Yeah. Her accent was distracting. She carried her "youuuu" just a tick too long.
Other than that, I loved the set up. I love how weird this show gets. The off kilter music is great.
