It's not just me right? This movie is in train wreck territory, so bad you can't stop watching?

"The president wants to do....."the thing""

It's the liberal version of Death Wish. It depicts a president (who is absolutely not Barack Obama) who finally says "enough is enough" and gets tough on his enemies.

I mean it didn't destroy Channing Tatum's career, so there's that.

James Woods at least made a small effort to save it.
And Woods' wife did have a nice little double bird to everybody else towards the end.
But, yeah, it sucked. But knowing what we know now about the modern day Secret Service, it just might be that easy to take the White House.

I think it's worse than catastrophic disaster

It is so bad it makes Olympus Has Fallen look like The Godfather.

They could've at least done some homework. Air Force One would've deployed countermeasures to throw off the ICBM...duh.

I fricking love that movie.
I look at it as the true sequel to Die Hard.
White House Down = the true DH2

Not on the level of Draft Day, but it's close.

Olympus Has Fallen is more of a Die Hard type movie.

This thought actually crossed my mind towards the end of the movie
And I agree with what someone else said, this movie made me gain a lot of appreciation for Olympus Has Fallen, and that sort of scares me

White House Down is basically a remake of Die Hard.

Ok now you guys are just fricking with me.
I get it, OHF did worse in lifetime box office, so the rules of the internet dictate we must all declare the under-performing film to be superior.
