None of these films deserve the praise they get, by the way, although Gump is clearly the pick of the litter.
LOTF was "okay" for the WWI part and outdoor bits - but the acting, even Sir Anthony was kind of "meh."
Titanic? Second most (to Armageddon) heroic effort by a supporting cast to save a terrible film from its terrible director, screenwriter and G-dawful romantic leads.
There I said it.

Leo deserved to die IMO for being stupid. You run around like an idiot for an hour while the boats sinking and then have no plan.
I could’ve built a raft out of mattresses and deck chairs in that time that surely would’ve saved my arse.
Moron.
ETA: Jenny was a bitch by the way.

Definitely Rose.
It wasn't Susannah's fault. She was the rock the brothers broke themselves against.

As a tangent, I remember all the whores who got knocked up in high school naming their babies Tristan after Brad Pitt's character in LOTF. I'm guessing there are a lot of 24 year old Tristans running around right now.

Then I'd say

Susannah Fincannon-Ludlow
Jenny was an abused, lost soul, who didn't know what she wanted or where she wanted it from. Hard to hate her. She's pitiable, not hateable.

"I've got this huge family that I've been part of for 8 decades, and I could leave them this diamond which would put the kids through college and give them financial stability. Nah, frick 'em. I'll toss it into the ocean."
Also, since it's a movie, you're supposed to just accept the fact that Jack cannot be saved by Rose. It's not an invitation for figs on the internet to do the full door buoyancy CSI on the movie scene.
Jenny, on the other hand, was a ragged out party girl looking for a place to dump her kid, which we really have no idea is or is not Forrest's. She could just be saying that to secure the kid's financial security. It's definitely well inside the standard party whore wheelhouse.
Jenny is exactly like the chick in Last American Virgin. She falls all over shitheads, then runs to the nice (and dumb) guy to get bailed out - then runs right back to the shitheads.

For me. She destroyed an entire family.
I truly despised her character to the point where I was glad she offed herself and hated that she didn't do it earlier.

It sucks even more that she's his childhood love and she turns out to be a crack whore bereft of feeling. She totally uses Forest's affections and love for her and doesn't ever feel guilty about it.
She's most likely a sociopath too:
Lying
Irresponsibility
Manipulation
Lack of emotion
Plus Jenny would be the worst lay in the world. Emotionless, frigid - plus you'd probably get the AIDS.
At least Rose would be a great lay for one day.

I will grant you this, she is a lot like the Last American Virgin character, played to perfection by B movie starlet Diane Franklin, in that she ruins lives in her wake.
But she is sort of a passive evil. She screws up left and right, but there isn't a "I will ignore my family and burn things to the ground" moment.
Though, for the record, Diane Franklin (nudity galore) could act her arse off compared to Robin Wright.

Yeah, Diane Franklin does it willingly with her full faculties.
Jenny is just damaged goods. But she made choices to go down that path...and she really treated the one guy in her life that tried to help her like shite.
She just turned out to be a crazy person.
Diane Franklin knew what she was doing.

That was Tristan. Susannah was the water that froze in a crack in the rock causing the rock to break

It really is a shame that is one of the few roles she is known for. Today Franklin would have had, I think, a much bigger career.
