It was a lesson to choose your spots for pre snap trash talk. He ended up being the poo butt motherfricker in the end.

Oh no doubt, those Iowa OL really do just kill em all and let the paramedics sort em out

I just meant the way they showed the injury play out on screen was kind of weak. No way does his leg get mangled like that in the way they showed it. Director dropped the ball there imo

Charlie Sheen for Major League

Yeah, Charlie had an 80, 85 mph pitch in high school and actually juiced to get ready for Major League.

Watching Warrior right now and Tom Hardy looks like he could beat the hell out of someone.

Redford looked like a ball player in The Natural.

lolwut

Redford actually played baseball on scholarship at the University of Colorado, long before their program disbanded.

He was completely believable as a lefty pitcher/hitter.

Charlie Sheen as Rick Vaughn in Major League. The dude had the build and actually looked like a pitcher when he threw the ball. He played pitcher in high school and could actually throw a fastball on set that got into the high-80s range. But he was also taking steroids at the time as well.

He had a very smooth windup and delivery

I seem to remember reading somewhere that most of the guys in Miracle could actually skate.

I watched it yesterday for the anniversary, still stirring, was a confluence of events that will never happen again
