Aren't Pixar and Disney one with each other now?

But let's keep this on good movies...Do they bring back Syndrome?

Aside from flashbacks, I don't see how they can. The guy was sucked up in a jet engine.

But Syndrome will be difficult to top. Honestly how many more successful movie villains can you name than him? He wiped out like 90% of their version of the Justice League without anyone wising up. Plus I really just love the idea of fanboy gone bad. Him nerdgasming when he was around Mr Incredible was always great.

Everyone complains about sequels, but when even Pixar is doing them...

Well the Incredibles is the one Pixar film (aside from Toy Story) that actually demands a sequel.

I've never seen Cars.

The Despicable Me Series, Monsters Inc. Series [Minus Monsters University],Up & Wall-E are my favorites.

Fair enough. They aren't good.

It's tough for me to number pixar movies. I'm sure it's been done before here, but it really deserves it's own thread. So many different opinions out there.

It is based on comic books though...

Very true. But it has to be someone dangerous. Perhaps a former hero? The implications of the end of the movie that heroes were en vogue again...maybe a hero goes bad?

Yeah, but Syndrome wasn't really super powered, and he's not the Joker either. Think its a safe assumption he was killed. The guy had a perfect death.

Yeah, Brad Bird has been writing the Incredibles 2 off and on since the original, but he said he wasn't able to come up with a villain on par with Syndrome, which led to countless times on going back to the drawing board. Honestly "Fanboy Gone Bad" is pretty underutilized in comics, and I can't really think of another super hero film that utilizes this. The only type of villain I could see coming even close to topping him is an Ozymandias type villain, and that's about it.

Best news so far this year

Finding Nemo is my favorite Disney/Pixar film, but The Incredibles is most definitely my 1b.

And it's VERY close, I might add.

Good call.

Craig T. Nelson is also going to sound really really old now.

Uh.....this plus Wreck-It Ralph 2 means Pixar can do whatever the frick they want. Minus Toy Story 4
pump the breaks stink brain. There's going to be a Wreck It Ralph 2?

Also I don't hold The Incredibles that high on my Pixar list.

Incredibles

Extremely overrated. Not a bad movie, but not the masterpiece that so many people claim it to be.

To each his own I guess. It's like the perfect mash up of Pixar's attention to detail along with superheroes and fun retro style.

Admittedly, it probably ran a tad long.

They're actively planning that one right now. Wreck-It Ralph has barely scrapped the surface of what its universe could be. I'd be shocked if Wreck-It Ralph didn't become a trilogy.
