I have it at 2, just below Guardians.

I absolutely loved it and it has a completely different vibe than most comic movies.

Johnston did a great job with it.

I watched it last night and its just as good as the first time I saw it.

Wish Red Skull would make a return.

I think it's firmly in the bottom 5

I hated it.

One of my favorite superhero movies. Johnston is the best at superhero nostalgia. IMHO it's one of Marvel's most complete films.

At the bottom. The second one, however, is one of my favorites.

I'd rank it behind only these (listed in no order):

Iron Man
Thor
Avengers
Winter Soldier
Civil War
Guardians

One of the weaker origin ones but still pretty good. And IMO it's the only Marvel series whose sequels surpass it.

Man, I'll go against the tide, too. I think it is a terrific film and one of the best things Marvel has ever done. It's like a genre film within a genre film.

Towards the bottom. Worst of the Cap movies.

Fwiw--I think Cap is a boring superhero.

Just average for me. Winter Soldier is my number one though.

I was not a fan the first time I saw it, I think I just didn't like chris evans...but I've seen it a few times since then and I like it much more now.

Red Skull was under used....but that's an MCU problem in general

It went against the basic Marvel studios origin format. Steve Rogers was a great guy who became greater. No redemption in the third reel required.

I wasn't a huge fan at first but I think it's better now that Winter Soldier and Civil War are out. The way they fleshed out Bucky's character throughout the series is really cool to watch.

edit: grammar

I never watched Guardians, so I don't have it ahead of Captain America. He gets #1, and #2 for Winter Soldier in my list of Marvel bests. I really like him as a super hero.
My Marvel #3 is probably Iron Man.
#4 is Thor
#5 is The Avengers

I enjoy it. Winter Soldier actually made it better IMO and I liked it before that.

Top 5 for me. The whole trilogy is the best in the Marvel Universe.

Will we ever see Red Skull again? He didn't die right? Just pulled into that abyss. That's the same place Loki fell into at the end of Thor. Maybe he can reappear during infinity war. Doubtful though. He was a great villain who I would have liked to see more of. Maybe even less Loki and more Red Skull over the years, even if it was to help another villain.
