What's the significance of the color blue on BB?

Of course the meth is blue but last night there was tons of blue (clothing, trucks, etc...) what is blue symbolic of?

Colors are significant in the entire series.

When you think of purity, you think of white. However, this meth while pure chemically, is not pure morally therefore it was given a different color than white....

Isn't the meth shown in the show really some local candy from where they film? Maybe it's blue because the company has been making blue candy for years

Don't forget the pool which is the same color as the meth. Stuffed bear falls into it, Skyler tries to drown herself there too. It's a metaphor pool.
