yeah i pretty much every word to this movie.
"The ship is too big, if i walked the movie would be over"
I think whenever we create an actual transformer, whether mega-maid or octumus prime then we may see the end of the world. So i guess terminator isnt' really that far off. Either way it'll probably be some form of technology that destory human life.

It'll either be a Death Satr type thing or a super virus.
I like this one too: "She's gone from Suck to Blow!"

Mel Brooks definitely knows comedy.
I can see a super-virus. I'm HIV Positive on this one.
Either technological or bacterial either way, it'll definitely be the human race before the earth. The asteroid theory is possible, i think there is suppose to be one that will travel very very close to the earth within the next 50 or so years.

I think its called Apophis. It will miss the earth but if it passes through a certain window in space there is a chance that the Earth's gravity will disturb its orbit enough to alter its trajectory. If that happens then the asteroid will hit the Earth on its next visit. The odds of that happening are slim, though.
To take the virus thing to a new level, what if it was an army of rogue nanobots that got loose and went on a rampage?

a robot of such small size, even if one strain gave itself a mind of its own it could wipe out the human race, it would take a long time but it would.
whats good that it would take a long time before such mass production would being on such a small machine. however the gov't has already started research on it.

Nanobot growth would be exponential, especially if they had the ability to replicate themselves. Something about billions of tiny robots attacking me from the inside out is scary as hell.

I agree but it would definitely take them being able to duplicate themselves. It would depend on how much advancement we'd personally give them.
it would be the ultimate virus strain. I won't be long before we use such ideas as weapons. We'll move from chemical and biological to a more biomechanical warfare.

Khan, good call.
Genetically enhanced or enhancement through tech implants.
I'd go the genetics route simply for asthetics.

i don't know
when i think genetically enhanced i think dr. Jekyl/Mr. Hyde. and spiderman and a few other mutants
but when i think through tech implants
i think Weapon X and Angel becoming Archangel.

Fail...again. You are only citing one of at least four possible models of Revelation. Other models would have 2012, or any date in the future, be consistent with the Bible.

I only suggested one that I was aware of.
Please enlighten me of others.

Speaking of the timeline you put out Volvagia, there are a great set of books that I just started reading called The Left Behind series. I am almost done with the second book and it has been great so far. Its Christian fiction based on the timeline you presented.

I've read some of these, and is actually what got me tooking into the subject in the first place.
Couldn't put down the first 3 books, but then it started to drag on and I stopped reading the series about halfway through.

There was an 'Outer Limits' episode where a guy injected himself with nanobots. When he got injured they fixed him... and made improvements. Eventually the guy developed a redundant skeletal structure and freaking gills.
Awesome.
Awesome.
