It's good, but if we're going old Nosferatu or Vampyr are tops.

Lee's Dracula is better than Bela's

As the original thread starter and bashing "The Lost Boys", I guess I need to defend my post about how bad it is.

"The Lost Boys" sucks because of two reasons, the Coreys. They ruined the movie.

Fright Night, Salem's Lot, and the Hammer films for me. As much as I love 80s horror I never really got into The Lost Boys, too many mullets and too many Corys. There is a fine line for the 80s between really cool and way too much

The Jack Palance Dracula is really good.

Fright Night was fun.

Christopher Lee is hard to beat, also.

To me, it's Interview with A Vampire...

They did a very good job with the everything about it.

I wish they would do "Blood and Gold".
It's a good vampire story in the same series, and takes place in Florence during the heart of the cities success.

This would get my vote. The American remake Let Me In is also pretty damn good.

I'm also a fan of The Hunger. Vampires never looked so chic.

I liked that in all of these films, the word "vampire" is never used.

I forgot that flick that I watched on netflix kind of recently. A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night. I thought it was actually really good.

Cronos (1993) is a really good movie. Guillermo del Toro's directorial debut.

A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night (2014) is also really good. One of the best movies of the year. Cool movie, shot in black and white and has a western/noir kind of feel.
