I know the first real date I went on after I got my license where I drove was Pearl Harbor.

i think mine was something absurd like 13 going on 30 or a similar type movie.

in 6th-8th grade, there was a big group that went to a movie probably every weekend. you went even if you weren't "dating" anyone. pretty sure 13 going on 30 was first or close to first time i went that i was dating someone.

I'm having trouble remembering my first date movie I think it might have been Terminator 2. I do remember seeing Home Alone with my now wife before we were married.

I'm too old to remember my first "first date" movie. Batman (Jack Nicholson) perhaps?

First date with my ex was Fear, with Marky Mark.

I swear that my first date with Mrs. Sheep was Da Vinci Code. She swears it waa something else before that.

P.S. Raul Julia was an underrated actor and left us too soon.

I love telling this story.

The first movie I saw with a date was Platoon, when I was 16.

We made out the entire time. There's people getting ambushed and shot up, legs getting blown off by mines... and we just don't even look.

It reminds me of the episode of Seinfeld where Jerry makes out with his girlfriend during Schindler's List. We were before our time.

Anyhow, I had to go back to see Platoon the next night so I could see Platoon. I liked it.

My first "date" movie without the parents/adults tagging along was The Lion King in 1994. I was in 7th grade and went on a "double date" with a boy from school, my friend, and her boyfriend.

Fellowship of the Ring

I had seen it the day before and wanted to go again.

Definitely did the arm over the shoulder boob grab Travolta tried in Grease.
