He is not exactly a super hero, but I can't believe no one has made a big budget movie of the 6 Million Dollar Man. Especially with all of the 70's and 80's remakes being made. For today's dollars it would probably have to be changed to the 6 Billion Dollar Man.

good call. but, how similar is that to a Bourne Identity kind of thing? or does it matter?

Excuse me. They bought the company. They now control Marvel.

They bought Marvel SOLELY for the rights to their catalog to make movies.

Unless they have a string of major flops, it can be expected that we will see even more Super Hero movies.

Which is what I am thinking will happen. The only superhero I think is safe is Batman, but the others (including Spiderman) could certainly go downhill quickly.

Don't underestimate the power of the FanBoy.

Would be awesome. Not the Spiderman "villain". The Neil Gaiman character.

But if I only had one, it would have to be Sandman.

I would love to see a real Swamp Thing movie. I haven't read it in a very very very long time, but I loved the storyline where he fought Batman and turned Gotham City into a forest. Then he almost gets killed so he goes on a revenge rampage.

Disney did not buy Marvel to make money on comic book sales.

I imagine we will see even more comic book movies.

That might be the best we could hope for...

I wish they would redo Superman and not make him come across as someone trying to play Christopher Reeves playing Clark Kent/Superman.

They already made Aquaman. Vinny Chase was incredible in it. I just hope he signs on to the sequel.

Jake Gyllenhaal is going to be in the sequel.

They should do some of the Wildstorm comic books, like Wetworks and Wildcats, or Team 7.

Was what I was referring too. Not sure how you would go about turning it into a movie through.
