Paths of Glory had a pretty profound effect on me.
I read that as "Blades of Glory" at first.

Pulp Fiction. I grew up in a Catholic, Black and White/right and Wrong environment. After Pulp Fiction, I learned there were shades of grey.

The website for Donnie Darko is mind blowing, and confusing

This movie made me want to get married and have a kid. You know, in case the mood ever strikes.

I don't think I'll ever understand movies like these two (although I haven't really tried).

Ghost
The movie had me thinking about lost friends and relatives for a long time.

The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.
Will Munny: We all got it coming, kid.

White Man's Burden - It was a bit heavy handed with some of the racial stereotypes and it wasn't that great of a movie, but it did make me see some things differently
Jacob's Ladder, Inception, Matrix, Shutter Island, Total Recall, Donnie Darko...there are a number of movies that look at the mind's perception of reality versus what is "real" and then some that take it to the next step of questioning how one could ever truly know the difference
Thirteen scared the shite out of me
Doctor Zhivago

Funny, I thought about that movie and that scene particularly as well.
Add Shawshank to the list
