And if counts (it's not really the traditional format) then Psych is definitely top 5.

In terms of my personal enjoyment while on air first run:

1. Friends
2. Futurama
3. Better Off Ted
4. Venture Brothers
5. Community

ETA:

Cheers, Modern Family and Raising Hope are way up there for me as well if I had to replace the cartoons.

ETA2:

Totally forgot about Community. Cheers just got bumped to JV.

This is incredibly hard (TWSS) even assuming we're excluding cartoons and Psych is not considered a sitcom:

1. Saved by the Bell
2. Scrubs
3. Curb Your Enthusiasm
4. Fresh Prince
5. Boy Meets World

Born: 1983

If we do count cartoons, Simpsons is the GOAT. Psych is in the top 5 somewhere and I have to make some really tough choices about Futurama, Archer, and South Park

I think someday, if the writers and actors on the show can keep it up, I may be mentioning Brooklyn 99 among these names.

Underrated and off the radar.

Mind of the Married Man. Comedian Mike Binder only got 2 seasons on HBO, but it was very entertaining.
It was a little ahead of it's time. Seek it out and enjoy!

Other notables that I am enjoying or have enjoyed:

The B in Apartment 23 - James Van Der Beek plays a hilarious James Van Der Beek.
Modern Family
Curb Your Enthusiasm
The Munsters
I Love Lucy
Arrested Development
If you include cartoons, you have to include the Simpsons, South Park, King of the Hill, and Futurama.
