Cute show. Shudder to think of what it would look like if done today.

watched it but I'm too old to remember anything about it.

Loved that show as a kid. The graphics were awesome.

do you remember that love american style spun off happy days?

A lot of fun.
As kids, it was close to pornography for us.
Was very risqué even at 9pm CST, then ABC turned around and ran reruns in the afterschool TV block.
It was a graveyard for rejected pilots, which is why Love and the Happy Days ended up there, until American Graffiti came out and ABC realized they had a potential popular series on the shelf. (Coincidentally, Tom Bosley wasn't the dad on the HD pilot, but he was the dad in Wait Till your Father Gets Home, which was a different pilot spun off from LAS.)
Love American Style is where most of us were introduced to Stuart Margolin, Angel of Rockford fame. Margolin was one of the regulars in the horny vignettes between segments.

I enjoyed reruns of it when I was a kid. I can still remember the theme song.

Anthology-style, almost a rom-com riff on The Twilight Zone/The Outer Limits, it is effectively the parent to The Love Boat and Fantasy Island on ABC (although Fantasy Island was more true to the supernatural vibe of Twilight Zone), and the latter shows had more elements common to traditional shows (The Love Boat effectively a workplace sitcom surrounded by the guest cast vignettes and Fantasy Island mainly Roarke occasionally checking in on the anthology stories).

I loved to watch this show as a kid.

saw some eps in the '90s
it was about as risque as a sitcom got then - meaning not very. Groovy fashions, some hot chicks, and a deafening laugh track.
Happy Days is the most famous tidbit about LAS, but there are others, such as the fact that Sonny & Cher did an ep right before their variety show.
Can't mention LAS w/o recalling megababe Phyllis Davis, who appeared in some of the blackouts

Not as dirty as The Newlywed Game

I used to watch it. Liked the episodes with Karen Valentine as a guest star. She was cute back in the day.

And, while The Love Boat and Fantasy Island tended to feature established guest stars, in many cases past their prime, LAS had younger guests who were in their pre-stardom period (e.g. Harrison Ford).

I keep getting it confused with Laugh-In.
