a few hours ago they played "The Sting", which is one of the sadder episodes of the series. I ended up watching it for some reason, then felt kinda bummed afterwards, but was like "well, at least it wasn't Jurassic Bark!" And now, in trying to kill some time before talking bad, lo and behold JB is on. Not a good day to be a futurama viewer ha.

That pretty much is my list with the only inclusion being the new episode that aired two wednesdays ago about Fry and his mom. that episode had the dog his brother and his mom. he had one chance to respend a day with his family.

Also would add The Why of Fry on there

Any episode that deals into Fry's past is classic

That's pretty much my list as well

Futurama is better imo than family guy

Though the early years of FG were great

I don't watch Futurama (sorry) but I just read the description of the "Jurrasic Bark" episode and...Jesus.

Pretty good list. What is the name of the one where Fry keeps trying to wake up Leela but it turns up he was the one in a coma (or vice versa). That one was very good. And the one with the worms that made Fry smart and suave. I know those must be on this list.

Over each's whole run, I think Futurama could be argued to be of better quality than Simpsons

the Simpsons really didn't go down that much in quality, just they have so many episodes that they have done everything already. Every year they have some great episodes., but I would put the 95-96 Simpsons against any other show.
You have to think they have cranked out 23 a year since December of 1989.

Just watched that episode yesterday afternoon and I agree with you. I can't think of a cartoon that does sentimentality better than Futurama.

If you haven't seen it.

YouTube voiceover at Seattle Comic-Con from 2012.

Its all the characters from futurama plus the other voices those guys do. Plus some other really famour voice actors reading the script for Star Wars. Freaking hilarious hearing Jake the dog, bender, fry, the professor, bubbles, pinky, batman and ironhide among about 25 other famous toon characters reading out the script.

I can't remeber his name. But I didn't realize the guy who does bender is Marcus from gears of war
