This one is character centric.

What if, instead of losing his hands, Stephen Strange loses Christine in the car accident?

I think a lot of us would go down the path he did.

This is the first episode in which the Watcher directly interacts with one of the characters.

It feels like Disney really neutered the "What If..." ideas. these stories are boring as frick.

The writers, producers, pretty much everybody involved in the show said that this was their favorite episode of the nine. It was pretty dark

Easily the best episode yet. Was compelling from beginning to end unlike the first 3.

Haven't watched this one yet. Does he still have his baller NY condo with the rotating wristwatch box? Assuming he lost the Lambo.

Instead of him getting his hands destroyed in the crash, Christine is killed.

He uses the time stone millions of times attempting to change the outcome and she still dies each time in a different way but at the same moment in time.

So far, the "What If" series is "okay" but not riveting. I'm glad they are only a half an hour.

Best one yet, but the series has been weak overall. I didn’t mind watching on my phone, if it was something really good I would have waited until I got internet back to watch it on the big tv

I think the last two episodes have been really good.

Episode 2 was fun, but pretty shallow. I didn't give a shite about the first episode, but that's also because I think the first Captain America movie was pretty lame.

I've been treating these as more of a palette cleanser versus some pivotal arc in the MCU and for that, have more or less enjoyed the episodes.

That was an entertaining episode. Dark as shite, but still entertaining. Definitely the series best imo.

Theory time, all of the attempts Strange utilized to save Christine, is this basically what he did in Infinity War when trying to beat Thanos. Except in this circumstance it was determined her death was an absolute, while Thanos victory wasn't necessarily an absolute.

Episode 1 was solid.
Episode 2 was absurd.
Episode 3 was intriguing but should have been longer.

I’ll watch episode 4 later.

It was the family laugh out loud episode of the year!

Okay. It wasn't. And that worked. Actually I think it worked really well because more than half of the classic "What If" comics involved things turning to complete crap.

An episode where there was not happy ending is a wonderful homage to the "What If" setting. Plus BC did a fine job. He carried this admirably.

No, in this universe Christine Palmer's death is an event that always happens at the same point in time.

Think of it as Ben Parker's death. In every iteration of Spider-Man, Uncle Ben dies in the same manner.

So a question for the comic guys, were all of those creatures he absorbed made up or were some he’s fought in the comics?

I believe they were all just based on Lovecraftian monsters...tho I don't remember the gnome being one.
