Han being a smarmy, cocky, opportunistic badass who wins the Millinium Falcon, steals from Jabba the Hut, and saves Chewie’s life. Oh, and always shoots first. Maybe it should involve smuggling force relics and some buddy movie dynamics between Han and Lando and Chewie.
The tone of the movie should be a mix of 3:10 to Yuma, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Hollywood Homicide, and Guardians of the Galaxy. Gritty, violent, and action packed, but still a light fun adventure that never takes itself too seriously.

Yeah I'm going to be furious if they make him a heart of gold nice guy who always does the right thing and chewy is a soft hearted Wookie who is being made fun of by the other Wookies for being a nice guy.
And no one likes Lando because he's a black guy buy Han sees past his race to become his friend.
If they make this movie Han KindHearted and Chewdolph the red nosed Wookie I'm going to kill someone.

Yep! Completely agree.
My problem is this - if you don't see the above, it completely invalidates his "growth" in New Hope. I'm not confident though, because Disney won't want to show a "hero" that way.

I would like to see them follow the lead of Rougue One and have the very last scene of the movie be Han and Chewie arriving at Mos Eisley Cantina.
