What do you like best about Michael Bay movies? The action or the dialogue?

Bay has made some great movies. But damn he needed to get rid of Kruger on the transformers scripts.

His latest netflix movie could have used a little polish on the script as well.

But if you don't love 90's Michael Bay then you hate movies.

Also, The Island is an underrated action movie.

His best work is right here =

ETA: Somehow missed poster above beating me to it. So I'll add a bonus.

I swear the scene from 'The Rock" with Nic Cage and the jet fly over has to be in the top 10 of scenes in an action film ever created.

I can watch Armageddon, Bad Boys II or The Rock anytime they're on one of the movie channels. They never get old to me.

Those have become pure Americana to me because they remind me so much of my childhood/teenage years.

And they're just pure entertainment.

"Losers whine about their best, winners go home and frick the prom queen" is so glorious, but Cage's response is just as great -

"Carla was the prom queen"

I made it 15 minutes into this one. What a disjointed, sloppy, cliche mess.

It was like a Michael Bay parody film.

The pure spectacle of his films.

I know what I’m signing up for.

On the Mount Rushmore of movie scenes in the 90’s I’d say.

I watch them to make sure there is an upwardly-angled rotating camera shot.

The 90s action flicks are pretty damned great, though.

I mean the action is second to none, but its tone and the dialogue that makes the movies imo.

I hate that he got bogged down in the Transformers movies. So much lost potential.
