Because it's there.

A Muppet Christmas Carol may be the best version of Dickens' story.
Michael Cain did an amazing job in this. It sounds crazy...but A Muppet Christmas Carol is a very good adaptation of Dicken's story.

The Night Before
I feel like this movie was completely forgotten about a month after it came out despite being a pretty solid 2000's style stoner comedy satire of Christmas movies. It succeeded where Harold & Kumar's 3D Christmas failed.
The scene where Seth Rogan is high at Midnight Mass had me rolling.

Another vote for Scrooged. Carol Kane and Buster Poindexter are fantastic in it as ghosts. "Can you get me to the ITV building in three minutes? Which floor?" Also the unintentional Bill Lambeir elbow Murray gives Alfie Woodard when he sees what he thinks is the ghost of Christmas future in the elevator.
